Freewrite~

happy face. :) I meant to write a happy face instead of a tilde. Well I’m now working again, and there’s a heavyset blonde lady and a guy with a cowboy hat who just came into the lab. “Feeling slothful feeling slugish” I’m listening to that damn “Lazy” song, since I updated my “Hello Dolly” plugin so it makes more sense. I don’t know why they picked Hello Dolly as the song to choose. Yes, it’s a freewrite, so I can be as grammarically incorect as poosibile. Spelling, same thing. Hell, I can’t type fast and accurate at the same time. Someone just asked me for earphones, so I give him a our student pair. Popping back in my headphones as the song begins to end. Oh well. I look at the tab bar of my Firefox and I read about the Mormons and facebook. It seems that Mashable has a negative bias against the LDS. They are not Scientology, (or I hope they are not). Now why am I concered about spelling now. and yes, I spelled “concerned” wrong. Oh well. Another lady came into the lab and it’s 10:06a. I thought this song was over. Funny how my fingers are starting to hurt. Just cracked my nuckels. Yeah, “Knuckles” okay!? There’s a girl on the other side of the lab with really bright hair and rocker style coat. Another lady enters the lab. it’s almost full. Hmm. Why is there “Lab closes at 9:15a” sign on the board? My arm itches! Oh well. I’m done.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!!!

A few months ago, I went to the Northern California Pirate Festival which was held locally. This is the lowest cost I can get for something that had a pirate vibe. In other news, I just updated this wordpress using the automated upgrade plugin. Works wonderfully for those who want to use it.

Damn you Aahnold!

If you haven’t been in the know about California government, our congress can’t manage our budget if the lives of their employees depended on it. being that in 2004, when Aahnold did that special election, he planned to have heavy sanctions for congress in case the state budget didn’t go through (Prop 76).

If you look at my past blogs, I reluctantly said no. This deficit is the reason why I said it. Now, an executive order has been issued for all state workers to get $6.55/hr until the budget is passed. I have no problem with all the other measures he’s taking to encourage a budget, (such as vetoing anything that comes to his desk), but c’mon! Six fifty five, with a state minimum wage of 8 dollars? That’s almost Hitler-like; going beyond the law or twisting it to get your own way. What’s wrong with 8 dollars? Everybody else pays it. If those wages drop, you’ll bound to see a strike. Maybe that’s his idea of shutting down the government so a budget gets done. Is this what “What the governor feels like” meant in prop 76?

For those who keep asking.

One more week till school starts, and I know people will ask about my school schedule for next semester. Here ya go. Compare and contrast.

Another passage from the Book of Mozilla

Mammon slept. And the beast reborn spread over the earth and its numbers grew legion. And they proclaimed the times and sacrificed crops unto the fire, with the cunning of foxes. And they built a new world in their own image as promised by the sacred words, and spoke of the beast with their children. Mammon awoke, and lo! it was naught but a follower.

Cuz you don’t always die from tobacco.

Screw the stork! Don’t smoke, I don’t. Why waste the money? I love these anti-smoking ads. I really do.

Wheee ha hah!

Now that Firefox Download Day has come and gone, it’s time to bring back an old Firefox video:

Twitter Digest…

Since I have nothing to blog about, I might as well turn fourteen days of tweets to prose.

June 1st, I decide to take a new web design collaboration job while installing Adobe Air Alpha for Linux. Once installed, I tried twhurl and found it sucked, and that Air is not ready for Ubuntu. The next day, I participate in yet another phone party with Justine Ezarik and told her to turn off her iPhone after it violated my ears with the GSM noise. I can hear it now:

>> Cracked.com Jingle: It’s an iPhone etiquette tip from iJustine
>> Justine: Under any circumstance, Never, EVER tell me to turn off my iPhone. EVER.
>> Cracked.com Jingle: iJustiiineee.

Speaking of Justine, what came first, http://hellotxt.com/l/z6IC or http://www.whentwitterisdown.com/? Oh well. They both are wacky in their own ways. Prop 99 and 98 both suck, and so does Phoenity Aura on Firefox for Linux. Hopefully a GTK icon theme might reverse the suckage. After reading an assessment about a Wikipedia article, stating “if this article is to become Featured-class, it needs to be clear that we are tracking her career closely.” I ask myself “Why does it seem that you need to Net-stalk a notable person in order to get the info needed to earn a (G)A-class article on Wikipedia?” I seem to want to build biographical articles much less now. I’ll go back to tech and religion.

You suck at Photoshop is the most twisted collection of Photoshop tutorials ever, but they are useful as well. My friend shows me a pretty accurate pic of Tifa from Final Fantasy VII. She’s pretty hot if you tell me. Kinda like the new Guitar Hero for the DS. I’m definitely getting it when it drops. I’ve Joined the EverWars MMORPG: Play along at: http://hellotxt.com/l/KmsX. Hey, it’s Wii compatible. Life is boring, and nothing really interesting was mentioned on twitter, even tho my brother had a graduation party. Something I forgot to tweet.

I’ve tried twitterphone and I’ll need to learn to vocalize my words better. NKOTB really didn’t have to come back. The weather got crazy, and the weather people haven’t been good at predicting the temps. The blog battle between two people is sad but funny. Just because I use Linux as my primary OS, doesn’t mean I don’t like Microsoft. I find Ubuntu faster, and more organized than Windows. But I still have Windows if I need it.

It’s the return of… No wait, you’re kidding

The Bacud Blog has opened for a sneak peek of my new layout. What do you think. Oh and while on the subject, I too have joined Plurk. A social timeline which I refuse to call a Twitter clone.

No on Prop 98; No on Prop 99.

It’s that time again, to bring Proposition politics back to the table. And luckily the June election only has two similar ballot measures. Both have to do with the ability for the Govt. to force-buy your property. Look online for their explanations. In a nutshell, the creators of 98 royally messed up with the rent control. And prop 99 doesn’t do anything for the people which imminent domain matters to. And besides, they’re both trojan props. They both suck and they both should be voted to hell.
